With the help of the community, the new tree’s location was thoughtfully selected to create a more central hub for community events, bringing activities and celebrations closer together and making it easier for attendees to enjoy everything happening throughout the area. The move will also help improve pedestrian safety during events by creating a more organized, accessible gathering space for visitors of all ages. Just as importantly, this new tree provides room for the display to grow and evolve in the years ahead, allowing us to build on the tradition with new experiences, expanded decorations, and opportunities to bring the community together. This change has been a long time coming, and we look forward to continuing the tradition that will grow alongside Janesville for years to come. This tree was purchased with funds provided through the generous support from Downtown Business Improvement District, Ryan Central Incorporated, Downtown Janesville Inc., and community donors.
